About your Advertisement / Auction
Following some easy steps, you can create an advertisement or auction for yourself or your company.
Below follows an explanation of some of the terms used:
Advert type
There are 8 types of adverts:
| For sale |
If you wish to sell one or more items |
| Looking to buy |
If you are looking to buy something |
| Services offered |
If you like to advertise a service (like if you are a plumber, or have a restaurant) |
| Services wanted |
If you are looking for a service (like a gardener) |
| Found |
If you have found something (like a dog or purse) |
| Missing |
If something is stolen or lost (like a dog, a purse, or a car) |
| Offered |
If you want to offer something but it is not really a sale (like a pile of old stones from your garden) |
| Wanted |
If you like to get or find something (like stamps, for a children's hospital) |
Price types
You can set the price in different ways:
- Auction (minimum bid price)
- Asking Price (make your best offer)
- Fixed Price (no bargaining...)
- From Price (the lowest price of several possibilities)
- Not applicable (no price at all)
Automatic translations
The title and description of your advert will be automatically translated into 6 other languages.
These translations are very limited, since the program cannot know how to translate certain words that have more than one meaning. So we do not claim to offer proper translations, but at least people that do not speak your language should get a better idea of what your advert is about.
As you will see, we have improved things by capturing a lot of information in forms where you can select things rather than type them; that means you do not have to enter this information any more, so it does not have to be translated either...
Limits
Per account you can have an unlimited number of advertisements. But: not all adverts are free. See Pricing about these financial details.
